Our department currently has 11 members conducting research in a broad spectrum of nutrition and food sciences. The topics under investigation range from the development of food processing technologies, assessment of food biofunctionality to nutritional intervention strategies for disease prevention.  The department laboratories qualify in bioanalytics, chemistry, sensory sciences, food and gut microbiology, biotechnology, gut health and inflammation, obesity biology and metabolic disorders.
